DeMarcus Cousins Takes Shot At Paul George’s Haters: “I Don’t Know Where This Trolling B******t Has Come From. The Internet Controls The Narratives About These Players, It’s Becoming Foolish.”

After he went off on the Phoenix Suns, DeMarcus Cousins came in Paul George’s defense, dropping 41 points to keep the Los Angeles Clippers’ season alive.

PG13 was on a mission, although he couldn’t get things right from the beginning. George took over in the second half of the game, leading the Clips to a 116-102 win at the Phoenix Suns Arena. Everybody was in awe of him after this performance, and Cousins didn’t hesitate to praise him and attack those who criticize one of the best players in the 2021 playoffs.

Boogie blamed the internet for changing the narrative about a player every single game. It seems like you’re as good or bad as your last game. The recency bias is something we’ve seen a lot this postseason, and Cousins is all against that.

“I don’t know where this trolling bulls— has come from where the internet controls the narratives about these players,” said DeMarcus Cousins, via ABC News. “It’s becoming foolish, man. Like I said earlier in the year, [George is] one of the most special players to ever lace his shoes up.

“Give this dude his flowers, man. I don’t understand the slander. It’s becoming quite silly now. Respect these players, man. Respect these greats.”

George keeps demonstrating that he can be the leader of this team. Even with Kawhi Leonard sidelined, the player hasn’t backed down to the challenge, and the Clippers are still alive thanks to him. Of course, finding help in Reggie Jackson, Marcus Morris Sr., Terance Mann, and even Patrick Beverley has been great for PG, but he has led this team through fire. Now the Clips believe they can actually return from a 3-1 deficit.
