Drake finally dropped his long-awaited album ‘Certified Lover Boy.’ The album was initially expected to drop in January before the Canadian rapper announced it would be delayed.
Eight months later, the global superstar dropped the project, making a lot of noise with his beats and inventive lyrics. He name-dropped Giannis Antetokounmpo in one of his songs, but the Bucks superstar wasn’t the only figure he mentioned on the album.
In fact, he showed his admiration for Stephen Curry’s wife, Ayesha, putting her as the standard of what every woman should be to get a ring. On track No. 15, “Race My Mind,” the artist mentions Ayesha.
“How am I supposed to wife it? You not Ayesha enough,” Drake raps on the song.
The Canadian superstar isn’t strange to this type of thing, but it was curious for social media that he mentioned Ayesha. Curry is a successful mother, businesswoman, and one of the most generous women in America. No doubt Drake wants to find somebody with similar characteristics.
NBA fans reacted to this, flooding social media with comments about the reference.
