Draymond Green’s attempt to chug a beer out of a beer bong during Capital One’s ‘The Match’ ended in an epic failure, leaving everyone in splits.
The veteran forward was at the celebrity golf event that pit the Golden State Warriors superstars Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson against Kansas City Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.
And as luck would have it, Green was asked to drink a cold one with a beer bong, and the 32-year-old tried to chug it all down, only to spill it on himself, and it was a bit of a mess there. No harm done, though.

There were a few more incidents that had the players in splits, most notably Klay’s wayward swing that saw a spectator hit by the golf ball.
The fun part aside, the Chiefs duo eventually pulled off a win against Curry and Klay with a 3-and-2 win. And Green, well, he can maybe take lessons on how to chug a beer with a beer bong.
Klay Thompson Trolls Draymond Green During ‘The Match’
Adding the comedy moments of the day was Draymond Green being roasted for his three-point shooting skills by his sharpshooter teammate Klay Thompson.
During one of the segments, Patrick Mahomes asked who would win a three-point contest between the trio, and while Klay and Stephen Curry chose themselves, Green confidently remarked he would beat them both, to which the former bought up the time the veteran almost lost to Kevin Hart during the 2016 three-point contest during the All-Star Weekend.
“This man almost lost to Kevin Hart,” he trolled the 32-year-old.
The jokes apart, it’s interesting to see whether Green re-signs with the Warriors after declining the $27.5 million player option earlier this month. The franchise has maintained that they are keen on getting him back. Earlier, new GM Mike Dunleavy said the team would attempt to re-sign Green.
“We really want Draymond back,” Dunleavy said. “To win at the highest level, we feel we have to have him. Beyond that, a lot could be made of all the challenges, but we are ready.”
With Jordan Poole traded, chances are Green will return to the Bay.
