Draymond Green On LaMelo Ball: “When He’s Out There On The Floor, They Have A Different Type Of Confidence.”

2 Min Read

The Charlotte Hornets are currently 8-7, and they have won their last 3 games. Their most recent win came against the Golden State Warriors, who are viewed as one of the title favorites and are currently 11-2 and the 1st seed in the Western Conference.

A large reason for their success this season has been the ascendance of LaMelo Ball, who looks like he has made a massive improvement from his rookie season. Currently, LaMelo Ball is averaging 19.3 PPG, 7.5 RPG, and 7.1 APG while shooting 38.7% from beyond the arc. He is giving the team All-Star level production, and perhaps he’ll manage to make his first appearance at the All-Star game this year.

Draymond Green commended LaMelo Ball after he led the Hornets to victory against the Warriors, and stated that the Hornets “have a different type of confidence” when he is on the court. Green also stated that Ball is a “very good floor general”. LaMelo Ball’s passing is quite possible the best part of his game, and we’ve seen plenty of insane passes by him in the past.

He’s a very good floor general. He shot the ball extremely well in that first half, and he gives these guys confidence. When he’s out there on the floor, they have a different type of confidence.

There is no doubt that LaMelo Ball empowers his teammates and plays an unselfish brand of basketball. He has even claimed that he is the best passer in the league, and it’s clear that he has confidence in the way he plays, making his teammates better on the floor.

Hopefully, we see LaMelo Ball and the Hornets make the playoffs this year, as they are an entertaining young team. While it’s unclear whether that will happen, LaMelo Ball will certainly do everything in his power to reach that goal.
