Ever since the start of this calendar year, the Boston Celtics have been in red-hot form. The Celtics have saved their season and now have a record of 42-28. It is enough for them to hold the 4th seed in the Eastern Conference.
Recently, the Celtics faced off against the Golden State Warriors. The Dubs have been super consistent this season apart from a few ups and downs this season. They have the third-best record in the Western Conference.
Evidently, the whole league had their eyes on this fixture. Although many expected it to be a close affair, the Celtics easily won the game as they won it by 22 games.
While Boston won the game, their guard Marcus Smart received a lot of backlash from fans. For starters, he was involved in the injury of Stephen Curry. As a result, the Warriors might have to play without their best player for an elongated period of time, if the foot injury is severe.
Apart from playing a role in that injury, Smart also racked up a flagrant foul for kicking Klay Thompson during the second quarter. While Smart was called out for being a dirty player, it seems like Draymond Green doesn’t believe that.
“I saw the kick, but s**t happens. I’ve kicked somebody before. It is what it is.”
Draymond on Smart kicking Klay: "I saw the kick, but shit happens. I've kicked somebody before. It is what it is."

Whether Smart intended for kicking Klay or not, it will not sit well with the Warriors fans. Even more so when it is all but confirmed that Steph might miss some time due to the foot injury.
After a long time, the superstar trio of the Warriors was reunited. But now with Curry injured, fans will have to wait before seeing the trio in action regularly.
Hopefully, Curry’s injury is not that serious and he can return before the postseason kicks off. Otherwise, the Warriors’ hopes of winning the 2022 NBA Championship will take a severe blow.
