Draymond Green has watched Stephen Curry as a teammate, grow into the greatest shooter that ever lived. He knows the work that the Golden State Warriors superstar puts in to reach the incredible levels that he has.
In conversation with Paul George, Green was asked about a story involving a ‘high-level NBA player’ that tried to do Stephen Curry’s workout with him and ended up throwing up after 10 minutes. And Draymond added to the story.
“I’ve heard this about a couple of guys,” Draymond Green said. “I’ve heard this about a couple of guys, so I’m not gonna put their names out there because I don’t know which one is true or not and I never confirmed it with him. But if you guys have me back, I’m gonna go confirm it with him. I wanna know if the first name I’ve heard this about if it’s that guy.
“But what I will tell you is like, when people work out with him, I watch him dumb his workout down… He dumb his workout down often, if guys wanna come and work out with him. Like, you can’t.”

Stephen Curry is the best shooter in the game and the best off-ball player as well, so it stands to reason that many others might not be able to keep up with his workout. Being at the level he comes from an insane amount of work, and if other NBA stars could do it too, they would be like him as well. But simply put, there is nobody in the league quite like Stephen Curry.
Draymond Green Revealed One Of Stephen Curry’s Insane Workouts
The Golden State Warriors core of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green have won four championships together. And Green describes their relationship as being special. He has watched the level at which his co-stars operate, and in the same interview, he provided details about one of Curry’s legendary workouts.
“A significant part of his workout is he can’t shoot a shot unless he can run a full-court sprint. A shot. We all know how great of a shooter Steph is. So we can all imagine the amount of shots you have to shoot to be that great. He can’t shoot a shot without running full-court. What? I’m sorry, but one shot?”
This insight from Draymond speaks volumes about Steph, and it goes to show just how he can keep shooting the way he does while also running all over the court. With Chris Paul around to handle the ball now, Curry is liable to give defenders fits next season just roaming the court on offense.
