Draymond Green is one of the most controversial players in the NBA today. Green is the defensive enforcer of the Golden State Warriors and brings a fire and passion to the game that isn’t seen often.

But Green has a tendency to get a little carried away during games, with aggressive fouls. But Green weighed in on the incident that took place between Jae Crowder and Luka Doncic in Game 1 of the Dallas-Phoenix series.

During the Phoenix Suns – Dallas Mavericks game, Jae Crowder inadvertently kicked Luka Doncic in the groin while jumping for a shot.

Crowder was given a flagrant-1 for that. Draymond Green took to Twitter to address the foul, suggesting that he feels there is a discrepancy in officiating, saying that he had been ejected from games for doing less than this.

Green has actually been ejected and punished for doing what Crowder has done multiple times.

Green famously kicked Steven Adams in the groin in the 2016 Western Conference Finals and then did the same to LeBron James in the 2016 NBA Finals. Green accumulated too many flagrant fouls and was suspended from Game 6, something that would end up costing the Warriors the game and the series.

Green was ejected from Game 1 of the Warriors – Grizzlies series for grabbing Brandon Clarke’s shirt while he was mid-air.

Many fans and analysts came forward and said that the punishment was too harsh on Draymond, as the playoffs demand a little more physicality from players due to the high stakes. But Green’s flagrant-2 was not overturned by the league despite the appeal made by the Warriors.

A lot of people are frustrated with the officiating in the playoffs so far, with many saying that the referees are being too liberal with the fouls they give and are calling the game quite strictly, more than the game demands.
