Draymond Green and the Golden State Warriors escaped by the skin of their teeth in Game 4. Playing against a Memphis Grizzlies team that did not have Ja Morant, the Warriors had a historically poor shooting night.

The Warriors trailed for almost the entire game but ended up stealing the win in the final seconds of the game. It was a perfect showcase of the Warriors’ championship pedigree, and Draymond Green sent a message to the Grizzlies on his podcast.

Draymond Green broke down the game between the Warriors and Grizzlies on his podcast. Green spoke about the championship pedigree the Warriors have and reminded Memphis that they are not playing against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Warriors are one of the best teams in NBA history and are currently playing championship basketball (4:30 onwards).

“This isn’t the Minnesota Timberwolves. You’re no longer playing that team; this is championship level basketball.”

The Warriors knew that they weren’t on the level that they needed to be. Stephen Curry joked about their performance during the game, remarking that it had felt like they had all been traded to the Sacramento Kings overnight.

Even the Warriors players knew that they were able to get away with a win despite their poor performance against a relentless Grizzlies team.

The Warriors will now travel to Game 5 to take on the Grizzlies there and hopefully close out the series. Golden State won’t have to worry about Ja Morant, as reports have suggested that he could be out for the rest of the playoffs.

Even if he is able to return before the playoffs are over, it is almost certain that his bone bruise will keep him away from the series against the Warriors, even if it goes to a Game 7, which could happen considering how good the Grizzlies have been without Ja this season.
