  • Draymond Green had brought his son and daughter to his press conference
  • Green stated that he was in the gym with his son DJ the night before
  • DJ hilariously said he wasn’t with his father

Draymond Green loves his children a whole lot, but his son DJ once left him embarrassed during a press conference. As Green talked about being in the gym with his son the night before, DJ hilariously called him out for lying.

“Last night, I was here in the gym, he was here with me,” Green said. “Olive was here with me. They love Dada so I think it’s-“

“No I wasn’t,” DJ said as he interrupted his dad.

(starts at 4:45 mark):

It was a hilarious moment and it was adorable to see his daughter, Cash, say it too and look around hoping to see everyone laugh at her saying it.

While his son reacted in this way, it doesn’t necessarily mean Draymond was lying. It is entirely possible that it did happen and DJ just got it wrong, because kids can get things mixed up.

Draymond’s Kids Roast Him When He And The Warriors Lose

Green can certainly be quite nasty when he’s on the court, but the 33-year-old is the polar opposite of that with his kids.

Draymond explained that he always gives time to his children even during the playoffs. He has two missions, winning on the court and being there for his kids, and he tries his best to do both.

While Green does his very best for his kids, they seem to enjoy going after him. Draymond revealed his kids roast him when he and the Warriors lose and they’re probably the only ones in the world who can get away with that.

Unfortunately for the four-time All-Star, he would end up on the losing side after this press conference. This was after Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals against the Los Angeles Lakers when the Warriors had tied up the series.

The Lakers would proceed to win three of the next four games to close them out and Draymond might have gotten some stick from his children for their exit.
