“Dwyane Wade Being Escorted Out Of The Utah Jazz Owners’ Meeting After Donovan Mitchell Demands A Trade To Miami”, NBA Fan Posts A Hilarious And Viral Tweet About Dwyane Wade

2 Min Read

The saga with Donovan Mitchell in Utah will most likely take the summer to sort itself out. The only two possible situations for Mitchell right now are to either stay with the team or demand a trade elsewhere, because he will still be under contract for a couple of years.

Many teams around the league have been linked to Mitchell, with his discontentment becoming more obvious. Now that Mitchell’s choice of coach, Quin Snyder, has resigned from the team, franchises around the league are keeping tabs on the situation around ‘Spida’.

One of the team’s aggressively linked to Mitchell is the Miami Heat, who may be willing to part with young talent to allow the Jazz to enter a rebuild while bringing Mitchell to team with Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, and Kyle Lowry, and others. Considering Miami legend Dwyane Wade is one of the part-owners of the Jazz, a fan jokingly made a tweet about Wade being thrown out of the owners’ meeting because of the Heat-Mitchell rumors.

The tweet is absolutely hilarious and is clearly a joke, but points out some real questions that the teams may have to answer. Is Mitchell actually linked to the Heat or is this something that the rumor mill has churned out because it is a realistic destination?

Miami will have to give up on the ceiling of Tyler Herro and hopes he develops well in Utah while adding a win-now piece in Donovan to help aid their aging stars like Lowry and Butler.

Mitchell would fit the same timeline as Bam Adebayo and the team could pivot around them in the long term. It would be an interesting fit, with Miami being well-suited to extract the potential out of Mitchell and make him a franchise cornerstone for the future.
