Dwyane Wade: “I Know Jimmy Doesn’t Care But That MVP Convo Is Heating Up For My Guy”

2 Min Read

Jimmy Butler is having a very good moment with the Miami Heat, demonstrating they aren’t done and the squad is ranking 4th in the Eastern Conference. Jimmy Buckets is keen to replicate and surpass what he did with the Heat last season and he’s locked in to get this team to have a deep playoff run again.

He’s just trying to do what’s best for his team but knowing how things have changed for the Heat since the start of the year, Butler is getting more attention as an MVP candidate right now. The Heat were 7-14 in February, ranking 13th in East, and now are 21-18, enough to be the 4th highest-ranked in the conference.

Dwyane Wade, Butler’s former teammate, recently took to Twitter to make the case for Butler, claiming that he’s getting better and his MVP case could be a strong one if the Heat keeps this rhythm and advance to the 2021 NBA playoffs.

“I know Jimmy doesn’t care but that MVP convo is heating up for my guy,” Wade wrote.

His net rating shows how important this man is for his team and if he continues to play this way, Miami will have the chance to compete again. They were considered a fluke for what they did in the Orlando bubble but now it’s time to prove they’re for real, not just a one-season wonder.
