The Miami Heat won the 2012 and 2013 championships, and there is no doubt that the trio of LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh have made a lifelong bond as a result of their championship wins together.

Recently, we saw Dwyane Wade post a photo of himself and Chris Bosh celebrating the 4th of July together. Though a lot of NBA players have a co-worker-type relationship with one another, it is clear that Wade and Bosh have a close friendship with one another that extends way beyond the confines of the court.

It is good to see the pair of former teammates still regularly keep in touch, and even spend national holidays together. Their relationship is clearly one that is a brotherhood, and not all teammates have that sort of connection with one another.

Udonis Haslem Revealed That Chris Bosh And Dwyane Wade Both Took A Pay Cut To Get Him More Money

It is clear that the brotherhood of the Miami Heat wasn’t only between Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. In fact, Udonis Haslem once revealed that Chris Bosh, Dwyane Wade, and LeBron James all took a pay cut to get him more money.

“As I’m pulling off the expressway, I get a call from my agent, the late Henry Thomas… ‘We got a deal on the table,’” Udonis Haslem said. “‘It’s not what you were offered before, but it’s good money.’ So just for the record, I was offered about $35 (million). The Heat only had $20 (million). But the fact that Bron, CB, and D-Wade all collabed to take less money to make that $20 (million) available for me, it said enough, because they didn’t have to do that. Dwyane understood. Bron and CB don’t know me from a can of paint. They ain’t ever played with me, they don’t know nothing about me. But the fact that they was able to say, ‘Okay, cool. We need him. We need him to win.’ That let me know I got to get them boys they money worth.”

This is a big-time revelation from Udonis Haslem, and it is clear that he is appreciative of the stars for doing what they did. The decision clearly paid off for them, and it is good to see that the stars were willing to accommodate Haslem.
