Dwyane Wade Says Gabrielle Union Is Lying About The Poster He Had In His Room As A Teenager: “She’s Lying… I Had The Magazine With Her On The Cover… But It Wasn’t On The Wall.”

Dwyane Wade shed light on Gabrielle Union’s story claiming he had a poster of his wife on the wall when he was a teenager. Wade and Union have been married since 2014, but it seems like the attraction of the player for the actress dates from longer than that. A lot longer.

Gabrielle has told this story about Wade having a poster of her on his wall during his time in college. Well, the Miami Heat legend said ‘enough’ and clarified how things were at that time.

The former player-turned-analyst and part-time Utah Jazz owner recently joined “The Late Show,” with Stephen Colbert to clear the air on that situation, admitting that he did have the poster, but the location of it was different (3:16).

“That is a lie,” Wade said, via Peter Dewey of Heat Nation. “My wife is a bigger celebrity than me. … This is a planted story. This did not happen, people. She’s lying. Now, I had the magazine that she was on the cover of and probably was under my pillow, but it wasn’t on the wall.”

Despite having a nine-year gap, it seems like these two were really meant to meet and be together. Wade dreamed about Union when he was a teenager and the actress didn’t hesitate to tell Dwyane’s ex-wife that she was a fan of him

They are happily married now, with an incredible family that always gives fans wholesome moments. They went on a trip to Italy during the summer, continuing their annual world tour.

Dwyane and Gabrielle have surprised each other with big birthday gifts, too, demonstrating how much they love one another. They also take cheeky digs at each other, like this one. While Union seemed to win this battle, Wade made sure to deny those claims. The public now has to decide who they believe.
