A lot has gone right for Scottie Barnes over the last few months, but he has now come under fire on social media from his ex-girlfriend Nari. After it was reported that Barnes was having a baby with a woman named Alyssa Rae Holmes, Nari called him out on TikTok for dumping her and getting a “white girl” pregnant just months later.
“Let’s play a little game,” Nari said. “Put a finger down if you were dating your high school sweetheart for almost six years, you’re holding it down for him while he’s still trying to make it to the NBA. He makes it to the NBA so you move to another country to be there with him, to support him, all while studying for your masters.
“One day out of the blue he breaks up with you and then months later, he gets a white girl pregnant,” Nari continued. “Just me? Oh okay.”

You do feel for Nari if that’s the truth. Moving to Canada after Barnes was selected with the fourth pick of the 2021 NBA Draft by the Toronto Raptors and then getting dumped out of the blue after dating for six years would have been quite rough.
Nari seemingly kept her mouth shut about it all this time and it would appear that it was the news of Barnes having a child, that caused her to call him out. Holmes had posted a picture announcing her pregnancy last week and the Raptors star’s comment on it made it seem rather obvious that he is the father.

Barnes dumping his high school sweetheart and getting together with Holmes hasn’t gone down too well on social media. What’s made matters worse, is that she is reportedly 33 years old, while he is just 23.
With some backlash coming Holmes’ way, she has now made her Instagram account private. Her TikTok account, which has over 24,000 followers, is still public, though. As for who Holmes is, she is reportedly based in Toronto and is a flight attendant. She is also a singer and lyricist of a rock and roll band.

Barnes seemingly has had no trouble getting into relationships and earlier this year during a livestream, a fan wildly asked him how to get a girlfriend. Barnes gave some pretty straightforward advice to the individual.
“You say you need a girl. Bro you not outside for real. Like bro it’s so simple bro. You want a girl bro? You need a girl bro? Go find one at the mall. Like go to the mall. Go walk outside. Like bro go to the mall.”

Apparently, confidence in yourself is the only thing you need. Barnes certainly doesn’t lack it on or off the court. He averaged 19.9 points, 8.2 rebounds, 6.1 assists, 1.3 steals, and 1.5 blocks per game last season and was named an All-Star for the first time in his career. The Raptors rewarded him for his good play with a five-year, $225 million max extension, which could go up to $270 million if he meets the supermax criteria.
