Draymond Green got inadvertently hit in his groin during the Warriors loss against the Cavaliers. Given Green’s history of inflicting low blows upon others, fans around the NBA were ecstatic to see the tables turn on Draymond.

Fans were quick to say that Draymond faced something others face while matching up with the four-time champion.

Fans also joked about Draymond reviewing the film of the incident,

Some fans were pretty aggressive, saying no one in the world deserved this more than Draymond.

Fans brought up karma.

The funniest jokes fans were making were about Steven Adams smiling from wherever he was watching the game.

Some fans commended Jarrett Allen for being the one who caused Green this pain.

Draymond was having the best game of his season so far, dropping 18 points, three rebounds, eight assists, and three steals in the contest. Unfortunately for the Warriors, this ended up being their first regular-season loss to the Cavaliers since the LeBron James era, with the Cavs walking out of their home arena with a 104-115 win.

Donovan Mitchell led all scorers on the night with 31 points, with every Cavs started getting to double-digit points. The Warriors were unsurprisingly led by Stephen Curry, who scored 28 points on the night. Unfortunately, offensive struggles for Andrew Wiggins and Kevon Looney meant the Warriors couldn’t keep up with the young Cavs.

Draymond Green Went Crazy With Low Blows In 2016

The 2016 Playoffs are often remembered as one of the greatest in NBA history. The Warriors came off a 73-9 season but fell to a 3-1 deficit against the OKC Thunder in the Western Conference Finals. But during Game 3, Draymond acted out of frustration while guarding seven-footer Steven Adams. Green landed one of the cleanest low blows we have seen on a basketball court, kicking Adams where the sun doesn’t shine.

Play had to be stopped as Adams recovered from the kick, a player that most people in the NBA agree is the strongest. Green wasn’t suspended, only getting called for a flagrant foul when the incident occurred. He was fined for the kicks the next day but a suspension was controversially disallowed.

With this in his bag, Draymond would employ these tactics against LeBron James in the 2016 NBA Finals. This time, the Warriors had a big 3-1 lead in the series but Draymond’s kick on LeBron in Game 4 changed the face of the series. The league punished Draymond this time and suspended him for Game 5.

The Cavaliers won Game 5 without Draymond’s availability and went on to win the title even after Green returned from suspension. Despite that, many fans still believe the Cavaliers would’ve been ‘Gentlemen Swept’ in Game 5 if Draymond was available. But he was made to face the consequences of his actions at least this one time, given how the worst thing that happened to him for the Adams kick was a $25,000 fine.
