Fans React After The Philadelphia 76ers Suffer A Blowout Loss In Game 2

1 Min Read

In the Eastern Conference, there was a time when the Philadelphia 76ers were projected to be amongst the best. With Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons, Tobias Harris, Al Horford, and years of growing their chemistry together, many were ready to hail Philly as the next great Eastern Conference powerhouse.

But the playoffs have a way of exposing certain flaws and, in Philly, it is revealing just how dysfunctional the team really is.

Simmons is out for the playoffs due to injury while Tobias and Horford continue to struggle to find their shot. In Game 2, they lost by 27 points (128-101). Embiid finished with 34 and 10 on 52% shooting.

Just one other person on the team had more than 14 points.

Online, the fans expressed frustration and concern over Philly and their future.

Even without Ben, the Sixers should be able to stay competitive in these games, especially against a young Celtics team with little frontcourt depth.

Unfortunately, it has become clear now that something needs to change in Philly. Whether they trade Simmons, trade Embiid, or trade everyone else around them, you can expect major change if things don’t turn around soon.
