Jarrett Allen made a big joke about Kevin Love's departure from the Cleveland Cavaliers, comparing Love's exit to a situation that, sadly, many kids around the world have lived in. Still, this was in good light, as he gave a solid explanation for the extended absence of Love on the roster.

As we all know now, Love and the Cleveland Cavaliers agreed on a contract buyout, ending KL's tenure with the team after nearly a decade defending the Cavaliers. He's now set to start a new chapter in his career with the Miami Heat, but one of his former teammates still has jokes for him.

Allen was recently asked if he had any idea that Love had asked for a buyout from the Cavaliers, and he explained that he was told Love would go get milk and cigarettes, but he never saw the veteran making his return.

“I was told he was going for milk and cigarettes and he never came back.”

This shows that there's no bad blood between Love and the rest of his teammates, or at least Allen, as recent reports suggest that the power forward has a bad relationship with the Cavaliers' front office.

Kevin Love Is Already Exchanging Shots With Bam Adebayo

Meanwhile, Love is ready to offer his help to the Miami Heat, and things appear to be going well for him, as Bam Adebayo is already calling him out, expressing what he wants to see from Love, and Love making it clear what he wants from Adebayo once they're both on the court.

The Miami Heat started this season struggling to even reach the .500 mark. Things have gotten better over time, but the Floridians are still trying to find a way to compete against other teams in the Eastern Conference. Hopefully, the addition of Love brings something more to the Heat, and they can make some noise in an Eastern Conference that seems to be up for grabs now.
