‘If Prime Carmelo Anthony Played On All LeBron Teams Instead Of LeBron, He Would Have At Least 3 Championships By Now’, Says NBA Fan

2 Min Read

One NBA fan made a really hot cake about Carmelo Anthony and his NBA career, who has been great individually speaking but not so good when you talk about collective achievements. Melo is great, no doubt about it, but he’s yet to win an NBA championship.

One fan called “@russandroses” recently made a bold statement about the veteran, claiming that if he had the teams that LeBron James had in his career, Anthony would have won at least three championships.

Of course, that sparked the debate and some fans agreed with “Russ” while others made the case against Anthony, explaining he doesn’t have the ability to win, unlike LeBron James, who proved that with the Miami Heat and Cleveland Cavaliers.

Carmelo Anthony has signed his name on the list of the greatest NBA players who have never won a ring. Melo was part of great teams in his career with the Denver Nuggets and New York Knicks but he never took that last step to compete for a championship and now that he’s a 36-year-old, his window seems to be closed.

He’s part of the Portland Trail Blazers now, a very interesting team that could compete in the West but injuries have taken a toll on them for the last couple of seasons, preventing them from winning a championship.

It’s unclear how this will end for Melo and his team but he’s not getting any younger and the competition is getting hard in the NBA.
