Suspended Boston Celtics coach Ime Udoka’s fiancee, Nia Long was reportedly spotted in Los Angeles for the first time with her son, Kez after the murky controversy last month. And when quizzed, she remained quiet on the scandal that unfolded.

Long has been reported to have stayed away from the spotlight ever since news of Udoka’s alleged affair broke.

His improper workplace relationship with a female staffer from the organization came to light, and he was suspended as a coach for the entirety of the 2022-23 season. Recent updates say he had used crude language to the employee as well.

Per a TMZ report, Long was approached by a photographer and was asked about Udoka’s affair, to which there was no comment from her end. The outlet also reported that she wasn’t wearing her engagement ring.

Nia Long Knew The Identity Of The Female Staffer

Multiple sources said the woman involved helped make Udoka’s travel arrangements and sometimes did the same for Long.

Earlier, Sources had told TMZ that her duties included managing travel for the Celtics coach and his actress fiancee to be in attendance for both home and away fixtures. The franchise management said they were made aware of the situation this summer and immediately followed it up with a comprehensive investigation.

Long broke her silence recently in a statement. Per The Boston Globe, she was grateful for all the support that she received.

“The outpouring [of] love and support from family, friends, and the community during this difficult time means so much to me,” Long said. “I ask that my privacy be respected as I process the recent events. Above all, I am a mother and will continue to focus on my children.”

On the season front, the Celtics will now be led by Joe Mazzulla, who has been appointed as interim head coach. The team will start their season against the Philadelphia 76ers in their season opener at home on October 18. Their training camp is underway.
