The NBA trade deadline is barrelling towards us, and fans are waiting in anticipation of big trades that change the power dynamic in the league. Up until now, we have only seen one big trade, when Rui Hachimura went to the Lakers for Kendrick Nunn and 3 second-round picks. But who’s next, and when will we see them get moved?
Shams Charania has revealed the best players that are available as trade candidates on the market. These players can be massive game-changers for whichever team is willing to fork out the expensive packages that will be needed to get them to switch teams.
Report: Biggest potential trade candidates at the deadline;
Pascal Siakam
OG Anunoby

OG Anunoby and Pascal Siakam being traded will signal the start of a massive rebuild for the Raptors. Whichever team acquires them would be a threat to compete for a title. The Hawks have been trying to trade John Collins away for 2 years now and haven’t managed to do so. Jae Crowder has to be moved by the Suns, as they will lose him for nothing in free agency if he isn’t moved.
Are These Players Likely To Be Moved?
Just because these players may be the best available on the market doesn’t mean they are guaranteed to be traded in the next week. The Raptors may listen to offers for Siakam but likely won’t trade him this season. His price should be among the highest in the league, and no team will fork out those assets in a midseason trade. Anunoby, on the other hand is looking like a likely trade candidate with every passing day.
The Suns already have standing offers from the Bucks and the Heat for Jae Crowder, so it’s just a question of when they choose to accept them. Collins’ price has fallen dramatically in recent weeks, but unless the Hawks get a good young player or an instant addition to their rotation, they’re likely to hold onto the power forward for another season.
