Isaiah Stewart is no stranger to getting into fights on the court, but it appears he wanted to get into one with Brandon Miller post-game after the two squared off multiple times when the Detroit Pistons took on the Charlotte Hornets on Friday night.

“You wanna get it after?”

Stewart certainly needs to get his temper in check, or else he is going to land in serious trouble with the NBA. We have seen him completely lose his cool on multiple occasions, and no one could ever forget that infamous moment when he tried to fight LeBron James on the court back in 2021.

It was one of the more shocking scenes I’d witnessed in the NBA for quite some time, and hopefully, we don’t see anything like that ever again. He was suspended for two games for that incident and had these two actually gotten into it after the game, the punishment from the league would have been a lot more severe. Fortunately, nothing seems to have happened.

NBA Fans Reacted To The Viral Incident

This clip quickly went viral on social media and NBA fans reacted to Stewart once again causing trouble.

One thinks Stewart might be playing the wrong sport.

A fan thinks there is something wrong with Stewart.

One fan called out today’s players for their antics.

One believes Stewart has anger issues.

Stewart was praised by one fan for bringing back the Bad Boys era vibes.

Stewart certainly seems to be bringing back the old-school Detroit Pistons, as had also shoved Giannis Antetokounmpo and kicked Luka Doncic in the past. The thing, though, is that the “Bad Boy” Pistons could get away with it, but he won’t.

Commissioner Adam Silver is rather lenient when it comes to punishing players, but even he at some point would be done with Stewart’s antics. The 22-year-old just needs to focus on helping the Pistons win games and they did beat the Hornets 111-99 here.

Stewart And Miller Have Had Good Starts To The 2023-24 Season

This incident aside, there is a lot to like about what we have seen from Stewart this season. He is averaging 14.3 points, 10.0 rebounds, 1.0 assists, and 0.3 blocks per game, and had 14 points to go with 9 rebounds against the Hornets.

The Pistons gave Stewart a 4-year, $64 million extension this offseason, and his play on the court has justified the faith they put in him. If he can just stay out of trouble, he is going to have a long and successful NBA career.

As for Miller, there were a lot of concerns surrounding him after he struggled massively during the Summer League. Some wondered if the Hornets had made a huge mistake by drafting him with the second pick, but the 20-year-old has played well in the regular season so far.

Miller has averaged 15.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 0.5 steals, and 0.5 blocks per game off the bench for the Hornets. He has shot 50.0% from the field and 45.5% from beyond the arc, which is quite impressive for a rookie.

He inevitably will hit the rookie wall at some point, but if early impressions are anything to go by, then the Hornets might have a potential star on their hands. With Miller and LaMelo Ball leading the way, the fans can hope for a brighter future.
