Isiah Thomas Reminds Everyone That He Is The Only Superstar To Beat Magic, Bird, And Jordan All In Their Primes

Controversial as he was, Isiah Thomas is still considered the second greatest point guard of all time, only behind Los Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson. The playmaker had a terrific career, winning championships with his Pistons, shocking a lot of people in the league with their rough style of play.

Zeke was great at his job, and numbers show how his Pistons were a menace for rivals during the 80s and 90s. Thomas is the only player to beat Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, and Larry Bird, all in their prime. That’s something to brag about, and the Pistons legend didn’t miss his chance to remind people how special he was.

After The Undefeated shared some tweets of Thomas talking about his wins over the three legends, the former point guard reacted to it, saying something similar, taking pride in beating three of the greatest players of all time during their best years.

.@IsiahThomas wants to remind everyone he was a Bad Boy for real!

Remarkably, he doesn’t have a negative playoff record against these players. Thomas’ Pistons were a big deal in the league at the end of the 80s and beginning of the 90s, ending the dominance of the Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics in the NBA.

After Michael Jordan became a threat for the Pistons, they took care of that, creating the infamous ‘Jordan rules’ to defeat His Airness. They won back-to-back titles before succumbing to MJ and his Bulls in 1991. After that, the Pistons faded, but nobody can take anything away from them.

They became a strong force in the league, and Zeke’s record against these players is the prime sample of that.
