Morant is making $34,005,250 this season, in the first year of a five-year, $197.2 million contract. Unfortunately, he won’t see the entire $34 million he’s entitled to this season due to his suspension. With his salary, Morant makes roughly $414,698 per game, but he isn’t entitled to that money on a suspension.
With 25 missed games already under his belt, Morant has given up at least $10 million of his salary this season. He’s still making a lot of money but nobody wants to see money leave their pockets. Morant is suspended purely over his actions, which should help him realize the error of his ways.
