Ja Morant has become one of the best players in the NBA over the last year. Morant was expected to be a star in the NBA, with him being drafted 2nd overall in the 2019 draft, but no one could have imagined just how good Morant became.

Morant, in just 3 years, has become an All-Star and is considered one of the future faces of the NBA. But not everyone is thrilled with Morant and the way he carries himself.

Ja Morant has been receiving a lot of criticism lately for his jovial nature. This started after the Grizzlies defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves when Ja and other teammates began dancing in celebration.

On top of that, the presence of Ja’s father, Tee Morant has also enraged fans, as many have suggested that Tee has been doing his best to make his presence known during Grizzlies games.

But Ja Morant isn’t paying attention to the critics and the naysayers. Morant addressed a Tweet from a fan who was defending Ja and his father for just trying to have fun.

Morant didn’t say much, but made his intentions clear; Morant would not pay attention to these critics and continue playing at the highest level and continue having fun.

Ja had a solid series against the Minnesota Timberwolves, as he played a big role in the Grizzlies beating the Timberwolves in 6 games. Now, the Grizzlies need to fight an uphill battle, as they are already 1-0 down against the Golden State Warriors.

The Grizzlies actually got the better of the Warriors in their season series, but defeating them in the playoffs will be much tougher, considering the season veterans and championship-caliber players the Warriors have available to them. It is Morant’s time to take the next step in being a superstar.
