The NBA has been around for a long time, and during this time span, the league has seen several amazing players. Obviously, each era in the league is different, and it has a different impact on the type of players that the said era produces.
A couple of decades ago, the league was much more inclined towards playing basketball with a high level of physicality. But that is no longer the case in the modern NBA. Keeping that in mind, there have been many instances when old NBA players have blatantly called out the current era soft.
The root cause of that is arguably the older players not having as many facilities as the current NBA players, and Jalen Rose recently talked about that.
Jalen Rose Lists 5 Things The Old Players Should Be Jealous Of The Current NBA Players
Jalen Rose spent many years in the league as a player. And he later continued his journey of staying associated with the NBA as an analyst. Obviously, Rose is known for his blatant takes on the league.
Most recently, Rose did the same while talking about Kevin Durant’s decision to leave the Golden State Warriors amidst the recent Kyrie Irving drama. Anyway, coming back to the topic at hand, here’s what Rose said about old NBA players being jealous of the new players.

The five things that Jalen Rose listed are as follows:
1. DMs on social media
2. Player empowerment
3. Load management
4. Getting paid top dollar
5. No punishment for weed
Jalen Rose is certainly one of the OGs and has seen the transition of the differences between the older generation and the current generation. But is there any fault of the current players who have gotten these benefits? Certainly not.
At the end of the day, the older generation should not hate the modern players for what they missed out on getting just because of being born in a different era.
