James Harden Makes Game-Saving Block To Advance Rockets To Western Conference Semi-Finals

1 Min Read

Things got pretty ugly towards the end of Houston’s 104 – 102 Game 7 win over the Thunder. With both teams scrambling to make a play in the final seconds, it was really anybody’s game until the last few seconds of the game.

But as the clock continued to wind down, it was James Harden who came up clutch for his team, pulling-off a game-saving block on Lu Dort and giving his team back the ball with the one-point lead.

James struggled all night with his shot, going just 4-15 from the field in 37 minutes while his partner, Russell Westbrook, dropped 20 points on 45% shooting.

The Rockets will go on to face the Lakers in round two and while many are optimistic about their chances, Harden will have to step up offensively if his team is to have a chance.

With his legacy on the line, and maybe the future of his team, on the line, it will be up to Harden to prove he belongs amongst the NBA’s elite.

Here’s to hoping for a good series in the round ahead.
