James Harden’s career as a Philadelphia 76ers player didn’t start as well as the fans would have liked. Although the Beard seemed well adjusted to his new teammates, he still has had a hard time performing in games.

But most hoped that Harden would be back at his best, come playoff time. In reality, he was a shell of himself, at least for the first few games. Now, in a nail-biting series against the Miami Heat in Round 2 of the playoffs, Harden has finally found his form.

After going down 2-0 against the Heat, the 76ers were in a tough spot and the former MVP has stepped up his game with the return of Joel Embiid. Harden’s newfound form was seen in the 76ers’ Game 4 victory.

He finished the game with 31 points, 7 rebounds, and 9 assists while shooting 44.4% from the field. Moreover, the best part about his performance was his 3-point shooting as he shot 6-of-10 beyond the 3-point line.

Looking at this performance, many praised him and now expect him to continue this form in order to help the 76ers win the series. Upon being asked about what he did differently in the game, Harden simply denied doing anything different.

“Just took what the defense gave me. Same shots, just made some, nothing really changed man I just made some shots. I mean obviously that’s the game changer, but just being aggressive.”

It’s great to see Harden still being a humble guy after having a huge night at such a crucial moment in the series. Hopefully, he can maintain this form and reach the heights that fans got used to seeing him perform during his time with the Houston Rockets.

Can Harden once again reach that level? We will find that out in the remainder of the games in the series against the Miami Heat.
