The Philadelphia 76ers are currently down 0-2 to the Miami Heat in their second-round series. They absolutely need to win their next two games at home to give themselves a good chance of winning the series.

Despite their position right now, guard James Harden is confident in the team’s chances. He has recently said that the team would “go home and take care of business”, and end up being back in Miami for Game 5. Tyler Conway of Bleacher Report relayed the news.

Harden expressed confidence that the Sixers will head back to Philadelphia and take the next two games after Wednesday’s 119-103 loss in Miami.

“For the most part, we are still a confident group and we’ll go home and do what we’re supposed to do,” Harden told reporters. “In the playoffs, the series doesn’t start until the road team wins. We didn’t get one of the first two, but we’ll go home and take care of business and be back for Game 5.”

For the Sixers to actually crawl out of their 0-2 hole, they’re going to need a lot better from Harden. The 2018 MVP has been wildly disappointing over the first two games, averaging just 18.0 points, 7.0 assists and 6.5 rebounds while shooting 39.3 percent from the floor.

There is no doubt that the Philadelphia 76ers have a chance to win both games, especially if superstar center Joel Embiid ends up playing in those games. If Joel Embiid does end up sitting out, then the Philadelphia 76ers will need James Harden, Tyrese Maxey, and Tobias Harris to step up and carry the offensive load, and give themselves a shot of winning both games.

Many have said James Harden isn’t the same player that he was in Houston. However, he will need to turn back the clock a little bit if the Philadelphia 76er are to beat the Miami Heat, and we’ll see if he is able to do so.
