James Harden Says The Boston Celtics Win Was Good For The Brooklyn Nets: “It’s A Reminder That Things Aren’t Going To Be So Easy.”

The Boston Celtics surprised the Brooklyn Nets on Friday night, dominating them after a big performance by Jayson Tatum. The visitors looked very solid in the first two games of the series, and plenty of people believed they would get one game close to the sweep.

That didn’t happen and the C’s took a 125-119 to make their fans dream about doing more this series. James Harden reflected on this game, saying this was a wake-up call for the Nets after winning the first two games of the series by large margins.

The Beard said that the team needs to lose to remember that rivals are looking to take them down and regardless of how talented they are, they can lose games.

“As much as we don’t want to lose, this is probably what’s good for us… Game 2 we played so well. It’s a reminder that things aren’t going to be so easy.”

Jayson Tatum was on a mission last night, dropping 50 on the Nets, leading them to a much-needed win. Marcus Smart added 23, and Tristan Thompson posted 19 points for the C’s.

Game 4 is scheduled for Sunday, with Harden’s side trying to win the third game of the series while the Celtics will try to return to Brooklyn with everything tied up.
