James Wiseman is part of the Golden State Warriors and although his NBA career didn’t start the best way, the player is ready to turn things around and his team is backing him up to fulfill his potential. The young man also has big expectations for his tenure in the Bay.
The big man knows he still has things to do and is ready to learn as much as he can to take his game to the next level. Talking with the San Jose Mercury News’ Wes Goldberg (via NBC Sports), Wiseman revealed his big plans to become a big figure on the Warriors.
“I want to be an All-Star, win MVP, win some rings, be one of the best players in the league,” Wiseman said.
Moreover, he said that his plan for the future is to emulate what players like Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green have done. He wants to remain with the team his entire career and achieve all his goals with the uniform.
“I want to become a Warrior forever,” Wiseman told Goldberg.
Wiseman is currently averaging 12.0 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks while playing 20.6 minutes per game. He earned a call for the NBA Rising Star on Wednesday, being one of the best players on the US Team.
