Steph Curry found himself the subject of praise once again after former NBA guard Jason Terry made an appearance on the 95.7 The Game “Bonta, Steiny and Guru.” In the radio interview, Terry called the Golden State star one of the best players ever at his position.
“You get out there and you compete against him and you’re like ‘uh oh okay, I see it.’ And then as he got later in his career, 4-5 years in an now I’m competing against him in the Western Conference Finals. There was about a three-minute span where he literally took over the game. I mean it was a steal, a three, offensive rebound, layup, and-one, another three.
I mean I’m just like man I don’t… there is no defensive game plan for this kid and he was impacting the game in a variety of ways that you just didn’t see from an average player. And then after he won his first Championship, and he obviously won the MVP, and then he won another MVP, you understood that he would go down as one of the greatest point guards to ever play this game.”

Terry made his stance pretty clear — and, honestly, it’s hard to say he’s wrong.
As the greatest shooter in basketball history, Steph is credited with shifting the NBA to a more perimeter-oriented offensive playstyle. He was so dominant on the court that teams saw the potential shooters could have on the game.
Over 10 years, Curry has averaged 23.5 points, 6.6 assists, and 4.5 rebounds per game on 47% shooting and an insane 43% shooting from beyond the arc. He’s got two MVPs to his name along with six All-Star appearances, a scoring title, six All-NBA team selections, two Olympic gold medals, and three NBA Championships with the Warriors.
If that’s not the resume of an All-Time great, I’m not sure what is.
