Jayson Tatum Offers Fan His Game Shoes After He Accidentally Threw Powder On The Fan’s Shoes: “Pair Of Game Kicks For The Next Game He Comes To.”

To be able to sit courtside for any NBA game is not easy. Tickets to sit right next to the court usually cost a lot of money, and we only see celebrities and die-hard fans sitting courtside for NBA games, cheering on their team. But it doesn’t always work out too well for the fans, as one Celtics fan got a shoe makeover from Jayson Tatum.

During the Boston Celtics game against the Charlotte Hornets, one courtside fan was right next to Jayson Tatum while he was doing his powdered chalk routine. Inadvertently, Tatum threw the bottle of powder on the fan’s black shoes, thus completely covering the shoes in powder for the rest of the game.

Tatum found footage of this incident after the game and apologized to the fan. On top of that, he wanted to make it up to the fan by offering him a pair of his shoes, worn during a game, the next time he attended a Celtics game. Clearly, Tatum wanted to go out of his way to make sure the fan was not too upset about what happened.

While the fan did have his shoes momentarily ruined, he is quite lucky to have Tatum respond to him. There are a lot of NBA players who would have ignored the fallout, and would not have acknowledged what happened. It’s things like this that make Tatum the fan-favorite that he is for the Boston Celtics.

Tatum and his costar Jaylen Brown have been scrutinized a lot this season, with many people blaming them for the Celtics’ inconsistency and poor form this season. There are a lot of people who believe that Tatum and Brown cannot play together. But given how young both stars are, it wouldn’t be surprising if they figured it out and brought the Celtics back to being a powerhouse in the Eastern Conference.
