Jimmy Butler: ‘LeBron James Is Still The Best All-Around Player In The League. He Can Literally Play Every Position On The Court And Be Elite At All Of Them’

It’s not a secret that LeBron James is still a dominating force, even though he’s playing his 17th year in the NBA at age 35. James has remained as one of the best players in the world for quite some time now and he doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon.

Moreover, some people believe there is nobody above the King at this moment, with fans, media and even current players praising him for his great campaign with the Los Angeles Lakers. One player that praised LeBron recently is Jimmy Butler, who named James on his ‘5 Toughest Players I’ve Ever Guarded’ list for The Players Tribune.

Butler stated he wanted to give other players some shine, but it was impossible to put the 3x NBA champion on the list. The Miami Heat star claimed Bron is still the best player in the world given the dominance he shows on the floor:

“He’s still the best all-around player in the league. He literally does everything well. He can shoot. Pass. Attack the rim. Defend. You need a bucket? LeBron’s got you. You need a rebound, a steal or a block? He’s got you. Whatever you need, whenever you need it,” Butler wrote.

“Bron’s got you.

“When you talk about a combination of speed and athleticism, plus a combo of strength and explosiveness, you gotta start with LeBron. He’s one of the most dynamic players this league has ever seen. He can literally play every position on the court and be elite at all of them. That makes him a matchup nightmare because the smaller, faster guys can’t body up with him — he just overpowers them — and the bigger guys who can bang with him in the post aren’t quick enough to keep him from getting to the rim.”

LeBron is showing very impressive things with the Lakers this year, taking the Purple and Gold to be the best team in the West. James and his team are seen as the biggest favorites to win the NBA title this year and the things they display every game only confirm that.
