Jimmy Butler On Why He Didn’t Bring Any Family Members To The Bubble: “This Is A Business Trip For Me”

The NBA has allowed players to bring loved ones into the bubble and most players reunited with their family members in recent hours. We saw how emotional some players were to see their kids, wives, or girlfriends in the bubble, but others have a different approach.

There is one guy that didn’t bring anybody to the bubble. Jimmy Butler’s style of leadership has been known around the league for some time now and sometimes not for good reasons. Well, that doesn’t bother Jimmy B, who keeps doing his thing and seeing how things are now, is working for him and the Miami Heat.

Butler didn’t bring any family member to the bubble and the reason behind that should worry the rest of the teams in the postseason.

Butler revealed he’s focused on the big trophy, he’s not in Orlando for a vacay like many people do during this time of the year. The Heat swingman called this experience a ‘business trip’ so family members won’t be allowed in his room for now.

“This is a business trip for me. I’m not messing around,” Butler said. “Everyone wants to have their family, without a doubt. But we’ve been doing this for this long, what’s another couple of months? It is an individual decision and I respect that decision that my teammates make but I’m here for business.”

The man is focused on the big prize and he won’t stop until he puts his hands on the Larry O’Brien trophy. Things started pretty good for the Heat this postseason; they swept the Indiana Pacers in the first round and won Game 1 of their series against the Milwaukee Bucks. Jimmy Buckets have played a key role in those victories, leading his team to the promised land every time he’s stepped on the court during this playoff.
