Jordan Brand’s Twitter Account Sends Big Message To Luka Doncic’s Doubters: “Can’t Teach Clutch.”

2 Min Read

Luka Doncic starred in an incredible moment against the Boston Celtics when he drained a game-winning 3-pointer that gave the Dallas Mavericks a much-needed win over the Eastern Conference team. Doncic was really feeling himself in the last minutes of the game and that was more visible when he sank that big shot to end the game.

Jordan Brand took notice of this, of course, and congratulated the Slovenian player on social media, sending a big message to those who doubt Doncic and stated that clutchness isn’t something you can’t be taught.

Doncic has been criticized for his performance in crunch time, with the player missing some key shots for his team in the prior two seasons. The point guard was heavily criticized last year, especially by analyst Skip Bayless for his numbers in the final minutes of games.

Well, last season he had a very similar play against the Los Angeles Clippers, calling game with another big 3 in the Orlando bubble. Luka is different and he’s still young. He has a lot of room to improve and these shots will be more common for him as the days go by. We are in front of a generational talent and the Mavs star is ready to keep proving his doubters wrong.
