After getting booted from Golden State, 24-year-old guard Jordan Poole is trying to stay focused on his new team so they can outperform expectations next season. Despite his best efforts, however, Poole remains the topic of conversation for his beef with ex-teammate Draymond Green, who famously punched him in the face during a team practice last October.

Naturally, there have been some jabs thrown towards both players but the latest swipe came from Poole on Wednesday on his Instagram story. There, he seemingly addressed some of Green’s recent comments and called him out for needlessly stirring the pot.

We all knew that details would come to light after the Poole trade and while there’s still a lot that we don’t know we can surmise that that incident during training camp was just the culmination of a growing feud.

For whatever reason, JP and Dray just didn’t get along, and it seems there is no path to reconciliation.

Did JP’s Father Expose Draymond’s Guilt?

Jordan Poole is obviously taking most of the blame for his split from the Warriors, but Draymond isn’t innocent in this situation either. According to the testimony of Poole’s father, Draymond completely turned on his son and offered no apology for how things went down.

“I’m standing on this, that is some BS. JP (Jordan Poole) was his guy and he avoided me all of last year,” said Anthony Poole. “He is a soft ass b*tch and I’m standing on this, and he didn’t apologize to me and my wife. So, he’s lame, and me and him can meet anytime he wants.”

Only time will tell how this ends for both parties, but this is a real opportunity for JP. If he can play like he did last year and show the world that he’s still a valuable player, it could jumpstart his career.

If not, or if he causes any problems with his new team, it could be the final nail in the coffin for his trajectory as a potential All-Star.
