Jrue Holiday is extending his tenure with the Milwaukee Bucks after the point guard signed a huge contract extension with the Eastern Conference team. Holiday landed in Milwaukee in the offseason in a 4-team team trade that included Steven Adams and Eric Bledsoe to New Orleans and Holiday to Milwaukee.
Things have worked so fine for the Bucks, who are one of the three best teams in the East and they want to keep Holiday playing alongside their big star, Giannis Antetokounmpo. Shams Charania of The Athletic reports that the team and the player agreed to a 4-year, $160 million contract extension. The new deal includes a player option in the final year, adds Charania.

Holiday has found his place in the world in Wisconsin and his numbers are the prime example of that. This season, he’s averaging 17 points, 5.4 assists and 1.8 steals per game. On the defensive end of the ball, Holiday has kept his good level, proving he was a better piece for the Bucks than George Hill and Eric Bledsoe.
This might be a very good move for the Bucks but a lot of fans believe he’s getting more money than he actually deserves. Well, the Bucks are trying to build the best team around Giannis and this move was smart.
