Karl-Anthony Towns is one of the league’s best big men, and he is known as the best shooting center in the league. Currently, Karl-Anthony Towns is averaging 24.3 PPG, 9.2 RPG, and 3.7 APG, while shooting 40.8% from beyond the arc.

During the recent Minnesota Timberwolves game against the Brooklyn Nets, Karl-Anthony Towns struggled for a large portion of the game, but went 5-7 in the 4th quarter and clearly showed up when his team needed him.

After the game, Karl-Anthony Towns spoke up about performing well in the 4th quarter. He claimed that superstars “show up” when the team needs them.

Shot wasn’t falling, just gotta move on. I can’t be a detriment to this team… Superstars show up when you need them the most & the 4th quarter got tight, so I had to come in, I had to show up at one point. I felt very confident that in the 4th quarter I was going to start hitting shots, and I was right.

Karl-Anthony Towns is generally viewed as one of the most talented players in the league, and it seems as though he believes he is a superstar. Notably, Karl-Anthony Towns has claimed that he is the best shooting big man ever. He is definitely producing at an All-NBA level, and perhaps he will get the recognition if the Minnesota Timberwolves go higher in the standings.

There is no question that the Minnesota Timberwolves have made improvements this year, and it is quite possible that they will make the playoffs. There’s still a good portion of the season left to play, and it would definitely be good to see the Timberwolves get back to the postseason for the first time since the 2017-18 season. Hopefully, they play at a high level going forward, and they’ll need Karl-Anthony Towns’ contributions to be a playoff team this season.
