Kendrick Perkins Calls LeBron James And Anthony Davis “The Best Duo Since Kobe And Shaq.”

1 Min Read

LeBron James and Anthony Davis are among the best basketball players on the planet right now — that much is no question. Their partnership, however, may be even something greater.

Τhroughout these playoffs, both players have had insanely dominant performances. And, together, they have led the Lakers to just three wins away from the 2020 title. They’ve been pretty impressive, to say the least, and in light of their Game 1 victory, ESPN’s Kendrick Perkins went so far as to call their partnership the best to exist since Shaq and Kobe.

That sentiment may be a bit pre-mature considering they have yet to actually win a title, but if this level of success continues for a few more years, that argument may hold some weight.

Their fit together seems almost seamless as it has been often this season where Bron and Davis are able to connect on plays like they’ve been together for years. Behind the scenes, their relationship has been described as something akin to brothers.

Whatever the case, it’s hard to imagine a better partner for either star right now, especially under these circumstances. The sky is truly the limit for these guys.
