When it comes to putting the ball through the net, there have been many who have perfected the craft. Allen Iverson, Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar -- those are just some of the names often tagged as being the greatest scorers ever.

For ESPN analyst (and former NBA big man) Kendrick Perkins, however, he has given that nod to Kevin Durant.

First of all KD is the Greatest Scorer of All-Time like I’ve been saying and secondly I’m highly disappointed in anybody that had the Audacity to put Giannis in the same conversation with Jordan and Olajuwon by voting him MVP/DPOY last year! Carry the hell on...

This tweet came amid a blowout by the Nets, who are proving that they might just be the best team in basketball right now.

Without James Harden, it was Durant who really stepped up, dropping 32 points, 6 assists, and 4 rebounds per game on 66.7% shooting.

Shooting from distance, under the rim, in the post, and of the dribble, there is nothing that the guy can't do offensively.

Putting him over Kareem, Kobe, and Jordan in the scoring category might be a stretch to some, but he certainly belongs in that conversation.
