LaMelo Ball is one of the most exciting rookies to enter the NBA in recent memory. LaMelo Ball is a big point guard who can do everything on the court, and his passing is a thing of beauty. LaMelo Ball already has a solid understanding of the game at the NBA level, and it is clearly visible that he already has a good feel on the court. He could serve as the pillar of this Charlotte Hornets team for years to come.

One of the people that is very big on LaMelo Ball is ESPN analyst, Kendrick Perkins. Perkins has praised LaMelo Ball before and commented on LaMelo Ball finally getting to start consistently.

I mean do we all see what happened once the Head Coach decided to give the keys to the FUTURE SUPERSTAR Lamelo Ball?! I’m just saying tho…

— Kendrick Perkins (@KendrickPerkins) February 9, 2021

LaMelo Ball has been performing very well as of late, notably scoring 34 points and adding 8 assists against a stingy Utah Jazz defense. Any rookie who can do that is impressive. Kendrick Perkins is right in analyzing that LaMelo Ball is good as a starter. He has been performing well for the Charlotte Hornets, and there is no reason to play a high draft pick off of the bench if you’re drafting him to be your franchise centerpiece.

LaMelo Ball has a lot of work to do in order to become a full-fledged superstar, but there are definitely signs of his elite talent translating to the league. LaMelo Ball will be a player to watch for years to come, and everyone is excited to see where he takes his career.
