Kent Bazemore Reacts To Warriors Making The Finals After He Left In 2021: “Congrats To My Homies… But I’m Sick Bruh”

The Golden State Warriors have demonstrated they aren’t done yet after securing another trip to the NBA Finals. Following a 4-1 win over the Dallas Mavericks in the Western Conference Finals, the Dubs are now in their sixth NBA Finals in the last eight years, emulating what Michael Jordan and his Chicago Bulls did in the 90s.

Everybody has had something to say about this new feat from the Warriors. Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson talked about all the bad things they went through before bouncing back and becoming contenders again. The rest of the NBA was in awe of them, including one former player who tried to find a better situation last year instead of sticking around.

Kent Bazemore decided to leave the Warriors in 2021, amid their crisis before Klay Thompson returned to the team. They had a group of young players that couldn’t do much to compete, and Bazemore wanted to try something new, joining the Los Angeles Lakers last offseason.

Time has proven Kent wrong, as the Lakers didn’t even make it to the play-in tournament, while the Warriors are waiting for the Miami Heat or Boston Celtics in the NBA Finals. He remembered that moment on Twitter, sending a message to his former teammates while roasting himself:

Congrats to my homies…….

But I’m sick bruh 🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪

“Congrats to my homies…….

But I’m sick bruh ,” Bazemore wrote.

In the end, patience paid off for the Dubs, who are a dangerous team for the present and the future. Their original Big 3 is still ready to go, and they have players like Jordan Poole, James Wiseman, Jonathan Kuminga and Moses Moody to keep dominating the league.

Meanwhile, Bazemore is in a complex situation in Los Angeles. They have a lot of work to do this summer after a horrible season. Sometimes you bet on yourself and it works, sometimes it doesn’t.
