Kevin Durant And The Brooklyn Nets Celebrated At A Rooftop Bar After Loss To Milwaukee Bucks

2 Min Read

The Brooklyn Nets season came to a sudden and early end as they lost to the Milwaukee Bucks in the Eastern Conference Finals.

The Nets looked poised to make a deep playoff run and come out of the East, but James Harden’s hamstring injury and Kyrie Irving being out with a lower-leg injury pretty much deemed their chances.

Even so, they had an outstanding season and finished as the 2nd seed in the East despite missing one of their stars for most of the season, which is an encouraging sign for the future.

So, after a season full of ups and downs, off-court scandals from Kyrie, and a physically exhausting series vs. the Bucks, Kevin Durant and his teammates decided to attend a rooftop party to celebrate the end of the season, according to a report by Page Six.

“We hear players including Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan, Tyler Johnson, Alize Johnson, Nicolas Claxton, Reggie Perry, Chris Chiozza, Mike James, Bruce Brown, and former Knicks star Amar’e Stoudemire, attended. “It was just a bunch of folks enjoying cocktails in the breeze outside by the pool,” says a source who added that the party seemed ‘very informal,'” Read the report.

While some people will most likely criticize the Nets for this, let’s not forget that they’re also human beings and at the end of the day, this is just a job for them.

They’re entitled to having some time off the clock and have a good time as teammates, they put in a lot of effort throughout the season and, even though they would have preferred to stay in contention, there’s nothing they can do right now to change the past.

Hopefully, the Nets will come back stronger and healthier and you can be sure that they’ll be championship contenders as long as they have that all-time great trio under contract.
