Kevin Durant is once again immersed in some controversy after the Brooklyn Nets player was caught ‘liking’ a pic that featured Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan. NFL wide receiver DeSean Jackson created a lot of controversy in recent hours after he shared posts with quotes attributed to Adolf Hitler attacking Jewish people.

Moreover, Jackson shared another post showing his admiration for Farrakhan, who is considered anti-semite by several organizations.

“#farrakhan This man powerful I hope everyone got a chance to watch this !! Don’t be blinded. Know what’s going on !!”

KD liked this now-deleted post and people were quick to notice it. It’s unclear if he liked the message Jackson wrote or he was just showing his appreciation towards Farrakhan, as well. Still, this drew a lot of attention and not precisely for the best reasons.

Jackson issued a statement apologizing for his recent activity on social media; his team, the Philadelphia Eagles, did the same, calling Jackson’s posts “offensive, harmful and absolutely appalling.”

Now Durant got himself involved in this situation but it’s not like he isn’t used to dealing with this type of situation. The picture in America doesn’t look good; every day we see protests across the nation against racial injustices and police brutality. This type of behavior and messages don’t help anybody trying to fight for a better country.
