NBA analyst Jason McIntyre called out Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant for getting it on with fans on Twitter earlier this month.
“To put this as politely as possible, Kevin Durant needs to get a life,” McIntyre said on Straight Fire with Jason McIntyre. “He needs to go out and have fun and forget what the jabronies are saying on social media.”
“You think you are helping your cause, by debating this with random dudes on the internet, you’re hurting it, that’s what you are doing,” he added. “Michael Jordan doesn’t jump in the comments section, Stephen Curry doesn’t give a rat’s a** what these guys on the internet are saying, about whether he’s a Top 10 guy or not, Kevin Durant… let your resume speak for itself. You’ve got a phenomenal resume… Why are you debating it with a bunch of knuckleheads on the internet?”

For those unaware, McIntyre’s comments come on the back of the Suns’ star roasting fans on Twitter for not labeling him as one of the top five players in the NBA.
“How y’all even look at the game is whack as f*ck… You factor in team success when you talk about players. I just think how y’all consume the game is trash. Are you good or not? Some things can be that simple… A lot of people have seen it for a long time… It’s okay. These lists mean nothing anyway.”
While he did add that the opinions mean nothing, that he engaged in a Twitter battle was something McIntyre asked the forward to refrain from doing. And perhaps it’s not a bad idea considering that he has enough to focus on outside of the social media sphere.
Kevin Durant Slams YouTuber For Criticizing His Play
Earlier, Kevin Durant was not pleased with YouTuber Legend of Winning for his play, who claimed that the former was locked up by Denver Nuggets’ Aaron Gordon.
“Dudes who don’t even come close to being good at anything be jealous of the real playas. Shit be funny and sad at the same time,” the NBA champion responded on Twitter.
This season, Kevin Durant averaged 29.1 PPG, 6.7 RPG, and 5.0 APG for the Phoenix Suns and the Brooklyn Nets, and despite the stellar numbers for Phoenix, the team failed to make it past the second round, falling to Denver. But Durant, on his part, made it clear that he was not willing to take shots from anyone.
