Kevin Durant Responds To Bob Myers Saying There Was No Joy When The Warriors Won The 2018 NBA Title

2 Min Read

Kevin Durant isn’t holding anything and his feud with the Golden State Warriors and the people within the organization doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon. KD won two titles in three NBA Finals with the Dubs, but not everybody has the best memories about it.

Bob Myers, the Warriors GM, recently claimed how the team felt when they won the 2018 NBA championship (KD’s second with the team), especially with Durant and all the discomfort around the 2014 NBA MVP during that championship run.

“The second time with Kevin [in 2018] it felt like, ‘Well, we just did what we were supposed to do, and great job,’” Myers told ESPN about that season. “It wasn’t joy. I’m sure a lot of people felt differently. It wasn’t anybody’s fault. I think there’s just a weight to everything.”

Obviously, KD wasn’t going to let that happen without replying, and he did so in a big fashion, leaving a clear message to Myers and anybody who believes none of those players were happy when they swept the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2018 Finals.

“N****s look happy as shit in that pic though,” Durant commented on a Sideline Sources picture.

This guy never let those things go away. It was obvious he was going to reply and take another shot at his former team.
