Klay Thompson Gives Advice To Players Who Can’t Shoot: “I’m A Terrible Singer, But I Like To Sing. Not Everyone’s A Good Shooter But They Enjoy Shooting The Basketball.”

2 Min Read

Klay Thompson is at least one of the best two shooters in NBA history. The Golden State Warriors superstar has won games and series with his shooting skills, earning a big reputation around the league.

He’s just great at shooting the basketball, which is a talent that not everybody has. However, Thompson sent an encouraging message to those who have shooting struggles. We’ve seen plenty of these players in the league, and this season, things reached a different level.

Still completing his rehab, Klay used his Instagram platform to talk to players who can’t shoot, reminding everybody of how easy it is for him, but admitting that others can do it, too. The Splash Brother used a curious comparison to make his point.

“I’m a terrible singer, but I like to sing,” Thompson said. “Not everyone’s a good shooter but they enjoy shooting the basketball. Doesn’t mean you can’t do it!”

Like everything in life, if you want to become a better shooter, you need to practice your shots. That’s how Klay, Stephen Curry, and more players earned their status as dangerous sharpshooters.

The shooting guard is a menace from beyond the arc, and he’s trying to help whoever needs it out there. Of course, it’s easy for Klay to say all of these when he is one of the greatest shooters of all time. Still, you can always improve in life, and if somebody wants to have a long NBA career, they need to expand their game and range.
