After almost two and a half years, the San Fransisco “Big Three” finally reunited on the basketball court.

After tasting victory against the Wizards, star guard Klay Thompson spoke up about what it meant for the Warriors to be whole again.

“It was magical. I’m looking forward to these future games as well because we’re going to rebuild our chemistry and just have fun while doing it. I appreciate every night we have with each other. I saw a stat that said every playoff game we have started together we have never lost a series. So, hopefully, we can continue the trend in 2022.”

Everything fell apart in the 2019 Finals. There, Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson suffered devastating injuries that would keep them from the court for over a year. Of course, Durant left and headed East while Dub Nation spent a few seasons in the Western Conference basement.

Now, with their core healthy once again, the situation has changed for the better and the Warriors are once again in a position to make some noise in the West.

“It’s built on 10 years of experience and chemistry and winning,” said Curry. “And an understanding of how we do things. No matter how much time we have off, we can get right back to it… We want to keep building on that. We know each other like the back of our hand and we complement each other very well. There’s a lot of confidence in that.”

The path to a title will not be easy this year. The Jazz, Suns, Grizzlies, and other teams are proving to be a real threat.

But with Curry, Klay, and Draymond in power once again, the Warriors have become the team to beat. They proved that in their reunion on Monday.
