Kobe Bryant was one of the most inspirational players in NBA history. Throughout the course of his 20-year career, Bryant always brought his signature fighting spirit and determination to the court and found great success due to it. But perhaps more important was how Kobe Bryant was able to connect with fans.

In 2016, shortly before he retired from the NBA, Kobe Bryant took time out of his day to meet with a young fan who was suffering from an illness. The meeting was part of the Make-A-Wish program, where sick fans are able to meet their favorite celebrities. Bryant was wonderful to her, talking to the young fan, and giving her basketball tips, before gifting her a pair of his shoes and a signed jersey.

Kobe Bryant was incredibly generous and kind to the young fan, talking to her and engaging with her before the game. It was truly wholesome to see Bryant treat the fan so well, and how his kindness was able to make her day.

Kobe Bryant Always Made Time For His Fans

This was far from the first time Kobe Bryant made time for a young fan. In 2007, Kobe Bryant met with a young boy who had been diagnosed with Leukemia. Bryant was so generous and gracious to the fan, playing a game of basketball with him before he gave him some gifts as well.

Bryant had a lot of young fans during his time in the NBA. Because of his accomplishments, Kobe was one of the most popular players in the league. Bryant was a 5-time NBA champion and 2-time Finals MVP.

On top of that, he was named the 2008 league MVP and was an 18-time NBA All-Star, making 15 All-NBA teams, and 12 All-Defensive teams, including 11 All-NBA First Teams and 9 All-Defensive First Teams.
