Perhaps no two players have meant more to their generation than LeBron James and Kobe Bryant. As the two pinnacles of the sport, they helped change the game and inspire a whole new generation of fans.

In a recent chat with the media, Lakers youngster Kyle Kuzma described some similarities between the two icons:

“They’re obviously two different people, and it’s really hard to compare both of them. They’re just so vastly different, but the one thing in common is they’re just both winners in life,” Kuzma said. “They attack everything with a certain type of enthusiasm, whether it’s basketball, whether it’s business, whether it’s life, whether it’s working out, their approach to get to the gym or their approach to get to their bodies or lifting is just a winner’s enthusiasm. They’re just enthusiastically optimistic about everything. Their confidence levels are very, very high and very, very rare.”

Kuzma is one of the few who has actually played with both LeBron and Kobe, so he would know more than anyone what characteristics they both share.

Indeed, no matter who you prefer, both players are winners and workers who always strive to be the best version of themselves.

And although Kobe has passed away, his mentality and approach to the game can be seen everywhere, including LeBron James.
